Ashley Graham made waves for shaking up maternity fashion when she was pregnant. She became known for trying out new, bold and non-stereotypical maternity styles as well as embracing the bump and showing it off at every opportunity. Go Ashley!

She was often seen in bikini pics & crop tops or in tight, figure-hugging dresses or onesies. She always looks stylish and sexy but I particularly loved her maternity style as she clearly wore whatever she wanted and made it look fabulous in the process. Something that makes Ashley stand out is her confidence and she is a great role model to anyone wanting to embrace their pregnancy body, after all why should we have to hide it?

I also think it's particularly refreshing to see Ashley embrace her stretch marks, let's be real - most women will get them during pregnancy and for some reason we are made to feel like we should be ashamed of them. Thanks Ashley for changing the way pregnant women dress - you're starting the revolution and we're here for it...

All looks are created using "pregnancy friendly" clothing, i.e. maternity clothing, stretch material, elasticated waistbands etc. Non maternity items may need to be purchased in a larger size to accommodate your growing bump.

LOOK 1 | SLEEK AND SEXY

Ashley wears a silky and sleek black midi dress with high neck detail paired with black strappy block heels. This look is so versatile as this dress can easily be dressed down for a more casual occasion or paired with heels for an evening out.

LOOK 2 | 90's THROWBACK

For some reason this image gives me 90s throwback and I love it. Ashley looks fabulous in this pink Fendi onesie and leather duster jacket. I bet this look was also surprisingly comfy! You can't go wrong with a onesie in my opinion. Shop a similar look below

Ashley looks comfy and cosy in this Autumnal outfit. The figure hugging knit dress perfectly shows off her bump - I love a knit dress as they are literally so versatile and can be worn on almost any occasion, not to mention they are also ridiculously comfy. She has paired the dress with a leather slouchy heeled boot

LOOK 4 | polka-dot mania

I love anything with polka-dot as it always seems to look classy and elegant no matter what. Ashley is wearing a stretch-jersey polka-dot high-neck dress paired with barely-there strappy heeled sandals. Such an easy look to achieve with a high impact glam result.

Maybe one for sunnier climates but this is a perfect pregnancy look if you happen to be somewhere warmer this winter. Ashley wears an orange flared mini dress with yellow tie-up heeled sandals. Comfy and breezy yet still stylish and cool.

Ashley looks glamorous and sophisticated in this mustard coloured twisted front maxi dress. She has finished the look with brown heeled sandals and neutral make-up. Twisted wrap dresses are such a perfect maternity item as they always fit nicely above the bump and usually have extra room inside for your growing body
